Personal Finance

Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin

A classic, republished with new content for today’s landscape. This one’s a life changer and really gave me perspective on repairing one’s relationship with money and time and escape the disease of hyper-consumption.

The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins

As implied in the title, The Simple Path to Wealth prescribes easy ways to simplify your finances to put your mind at ease while also outperforming expensive alternatives. All for the mission of taking your life back and living with intention.

Life Lessons

Principles by Ray Dalio

Memoirs of billionaire hedge fund founder Ray Dalio. It’s more than an autobiography of a success story. While that part of it is certainly there, Dalio’s storytelling is deeply philosophical. From understanding how to approach problems, to growing everyday, to “struggling well”, Principles is insightful for people of all walks looking to improve their lives.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson

It starts as comic relief, but this is probably the smartest book I’ve read about dismissing the things that don’t matter and focusing your energy on the things that do. It’s brutally honest, hilarious, and relatable to just about anyone.
